Engaging Madrichim with Meaning and Purpose, is one of our missions at Temple Beth David Religious School. We offer a Madrichim program for our students in 9th grade and older who have completed a minimum of three years at religious school. Starting from 9th grade, students may speak with Rabbi Lachtman, or head of school, Gal Kessler Rohs, to see where they can best fit as a first year volunteer, offering a service at our school. Volunteer aides can serve as educational resources, enrichment professionals, self-care skills for our youngest of students, recess monitors, snack helpers and more.
Depending on student-teacher ratio, we offer a few paid madrichim positions for those who have completed their volunteer service of at least 25 sessions at our school. Our volunteer aides may consult with our leadership for promotion into paid positions, and extended responsibilities. We thank our teens for their love of children, their service to our school, their volunteer hours, and their acting as role model figures to our emergent learners.
